What is the Difference between Dismiss and SedgeHammer?
Dismiss handles sedges and more broadleaf than SedgeHammer but may need split apps in control of Purple Nutsedge. SedgeHammer is a water soluble concentrate while Dismiss is a liquid concentrate. Dismiss is compatible with a few more warm season grasses than SedgeHammer. Each herbicide relies on a different active ingredient.
